STOLEN AND MISTREATED

This was Duke, when he arrived to a humble house in the neighborhood of Villa Fatima. He was probably a beautiful and healthy animal, we think that he was probably stolen from a house in the south side of the city. From that day on his life turned into hell, the routine beatings with a stick silenced his howls of hunger and cold, he remained chained the remainder of his life without any compassion, he lost all hope. A neighbor who took pity made the accusation, when we went in order to pick him up. He was full of wounds chained in a space without a cover, when we fed him he could not retain the food because he had not eaten for such a long time, in spite of efforts we made he died during treatment and with him the hope of seeing his true owners again.

Many animals are stoleng and are used for breedin in different parts of the city, deprived of the more essentials in order to live. They are discarded and abandoned when they are no longer needed.
