Shelter and Adoptions

Animales S.O.S. is the only animal protection group that has a temporary shelter, located in the same building as the house of the group's president. Because of space limitations it only accepts animals that have been rescued from abuse and cruelty cases, pregnant females or one's that have given birth in the street, lost pets that seem to have owners and some wild species that are waiting to be taken back to wildlife reserves in their natural habitat.


These dosg and cats are part of our adopticon program. People interested in adopting an animal, can come to the shelter, pick an animal they like and sign an adoption certificate where he/she commit themselves to giving the animal a place to sleep, food, veterinary care and proper care.



Several lost dogs have also been returned to their owners becase of our shelter. As a result of this, we want to create the Lost Dog Center, where people who find animals that seem lost can take them and where people that have lost their animals can retrieve them.




There are also endless amounts of puppies and kittes that are taken in by our shelter. People can bring these to the shelter but in return must sterilize their female to prevent this from happenning again.
